Shure Beta 57A Supercardioid Dynamic Instrument Microphone
Building on the success of the industry standard SM57, the Beta 57A offers more output, extended frequency response, and a tight supercardioid pattern.
This microphone works great in the same places, and on the same sources as the traditional SM57 (percussion, intrument cabinets, brass, vocals, etc), but can give a clearer picture of the sound source, and rejects feedback/bleed better.
If you've typically used an SM57 for certain applications, give the Beta 57A a go, as it may be just the ticket to achieving the sound you're looking for.
