Of that second generation, the EON10 G2 Powered Loudspeaker is perfect for AV applications, theater, and smaller musical venues because of the following characteristics: The EON10 G2 sends 125 watts to its 10" Differential Drive low frequency driver that features a neodymium magnet. What that means to you is a lighter cabinet and less distortion as well. As for the high end, 50 watts goes to a one-inch JBL 2412 compression driver with a titanium diaphragm and ferro-fluid cooling giving you responsive treble and low vibration. This speaker is a mixer, too: you have 3 inputs: one jack as mic/line selectable and one as a TRS dual channel jack, so often times you'll have no need for a front of house setup. And the EON10 G2 won't overheat, thanks to its Thermomaster Total Thermal Management System which is a big name for a cast-aluminum baffle that very efficiently takes heat away from the woofer, horn and amplifier.
