Despite their lightweight aluminum construction (5.1 lbs. each), the SS238B tripod stands safely supports up to 70 lbs. Their dual locking height adjustment mechanism clamps the inner 1-3/8" tube, while securing it via a permanently attached pin that slips through pre-punched holes. The speaker adapter plate provided allows stand mounting of most loudspeaker brands.
