Saffire PRO 26 is the ideal tool for both studio recording and live performers. Building on four decades of audio excellence, Saffire PRO 26 is an 18-in, 8-out 24-bit/96kHz Firewire/Thunderbolt compatible* interface designed with professional users in mind. Its four award-winning Focusrite preamps along with the very latest in A-D/D-A conversion technology combine with the powerful Saffire Mix Control software to deliver professional sound quality, flexible routing options and rock-solid reliability.

Featuring a comprehensive selection of professional analogue and digital I/O options, Saffire PRO 26 has a total of 18 inputs and eight outputs, allowing you to expand and augment your recording or live setups to ensure you get the most out of your interface.

  • Four XLR/TRS line inputs with 48V Phantom power and two optional front panel Instrument inputs
  • Two additional rear panel TRS line inputs
  • Eight channels of ADAT digital input provide connectivity for external multi-channel preamps such as the Focusrite OctopPre MkII
  • Two channels of digital S/PDIF inputs enable connections to additional digital-equipped outboard equipment
  • Stereo 'loopback' allows two channels of audio to be routed from software applications directly into your DAW
  • Six rear panel TRS line-level outputs perfect for multi-channel playback and mixing
  • Two channels of digital S/PDIF outputs

Like all Saffire interfaces, Saffire PRO 26 will connect to multiple ports on your computer including FireWire and Thunderbolt* ports. Saffire Pro 26 connects seamlessly to a Thunderbolt port via a FireWire to Thunderbolt adaptor (not included) or directly to a FireWire 800 port with the provided cable. Its dual-protocol compatibility (Firewire and Thunderbolt) means it will work seamlessly for years to come with the next generation of computers.

***IMPORTANT NOTE: Please test your item before getting it fully assembled. For example, with digital pianos, unpack the keyboard portion, power it on and test all the keys. It is very rare that these items arrive with defects, but it is still a good idea to test it before spending time getting it fully assembled. Use caution when unpacking your purchase from its box, as some needed parts and pieces may be packed in and amongst the packing material. Be sure to save the carton and all packing materials, in case of a needed return. Do not write on the box and do not discard!
