The American Vintage II lineup showcases benchmark years for the Telecaster, Stratocaster, Jazzmaster, Precision Bass, and Jazz Bass. Fender begins the journey back in time with the reissue of the blackguard 1951 Telecaster in Butterscotch Blonde with maple fingerboard. Historic details like the "U" neck and ash body nail the early solid body specs. Jumping ahead, the 1961 reissue of the Stratocaster highlights the forward-looking vision of Fender with new colors such as 3-Color Sunburst, Olympic White, and a Kraft Music personal favorite of Fiesta Red. The nuanced details like the clay dots contrasting beautifully against the slab rosewood fingerboard, combined with the singing tone of the '61 Pure Vintage pickups, make this model a powerhouse.

A new vintage recreation lineup wouldn't be complete without an offset body style as well, with a wonderful reissue of the 1966 Jazzmaster in Dakota Red, Lake Placid Blue, and 3-Color Sunburst. Big, bold block inlays make a statement on the bound rosewood fingerboard, as well as matching headstocks on the red and blue finish models. Fender rounds off the American Vintage II line with the low end, featuring 1954 and 1960 reissues of the P-Bass, as well as a 1966 reissue of the Jazz Bass. The '54 P-Bass features the iconic Tele headstock on a Vintage Blonde finish, while the '60 shows off a striking tortoise pickguard against nitrocellulose Daphne Blue, Black, or 3-Color Sunburst finishes with a slab rosewood board for an elegant but mean look. The '66 J-Bass shows off in Sea Foam Green, Olympic White, and Sunburst and delivers a growling low end thump with Pure Vintage '66 Jazz Bass pickups.
