Electro-Harmonix octave, synthesis, and pitch pedals were designed to make your guitar sound like anything but a guitar. Quite easily the most unique pedals in the Electro-Harmonix line, they work great on all sorts of instruments: mangling and re-synthesizing keyboards, obtaining new sounds and pitches from drums, and lending a helping voice or two to vocals. All EHX octave, synthesis, and pitch pedals take the notes you play and synthesize new waveforms and pitches from those notes while offering added controls over filtering and, in some cases, dynamics.
