What's included in this bundle:
Add sparkly brilliance, or grimy roughness, to any sound source: samplers, drum machines, synths, the master bus — you name it. Elektron Analog Heat MKII is a fiery furnace destined to make your music glow.
This professional-grade dual balanced 1/4" cable is designed to connect your instrument to any unit with right and left channels. Great for keyboards, mixing consoles, PA systems, or other sound reinforcement or recording applications.
This standard cable is designed to interconnect MIDI devices.
This cable is designed to interconnect pro audio gear with unbalanced 1/4" phone jacks.
This cable is designed to connect an electronic device with a mini mono phone jack to an electronic device with a mono phone jack.
This expression pedal allows you to fine tune and control the expression input of any stompbox, synthesizer or keyboard. The EP-3 is built like a tank for high-quality performance on stage and in the studio, and is optimized for use with all brands of keyboards, controllers and effect pedals. Includes a detachable 1/4" control cable.
Elektron Analog Heat MKII is a highly unique yet very easy-to-use tabletop effects processor that features distortion, filtering and EQ. It fits perfectly both in the studio environment and on stage and is the ultimate tool for producers, musicians, sound designers and serious audio hobbyists who wants to enhance, filter, tweak, warm up or destroy, mono and stereo audio signals – perfect for any musical style.
Apart from stereo audio inputs and outputs, Analog Heat MKII also features dual expression/CV inputs for compatibility with any kind of analog or modular setup, full MIDI in/out/thru, DIN sync generation for both the MIDI out and thru ports, two internal modulation sources, an envelope follower, 128 user presets, an active audio bypass switch, a dry/wet mix knob, a switched mode power supply (a must for touring musicians!), a headphones output and USB connectivity, allowing the unit to be used as a 2-in/2-out CoreAudio/ASIO/WDM audio interface.
Analog Heat MKII also works with Elektron Overbridge DAW integration software that allows hardware to operate within an AU/VST host. Overbridge for Analog Heat MKII offers the user a quick and efficient way of routing audio to and from a DAW for audio processing using just a single USB cable. The audio routing can be aggregated, meaning no changes to current sound card settings in the DAW are needed. Overbridge also offers a graphical user interface inside the DAW environment for full remote control of all parameters in Analog Heat MKII.
Eight stereo analog distortion circuits
The eight stereo analog distortion circuits have been designed to provide a huge range of sound-shaping possibilities, as well as to fully complement one another. They are capable of everything from subtle high frequency enhancement to warm, tape-like saturation to harsh over-the-top distortion.
Stereo multi-mode filter and EQ
The stereo analog multimode filter sits after the distortion circuitry in the signal path and features seven filter types with resonance control. Together with the two-band stereo analog EQ, the affected signal can be shaped in a variety of ways, from surgical frequency amendments to dramatic filter sweeps.
Modulation sources include an assignable envelope, an assignable LFO and dual expression/CV inputs, making it very easy to create rhythmic textures, reshape beats or create interesting movement in your processed audio. The envelope can also act as an envelope follower, tracking the amplitude of the incoming audio signal for use as an internal modulation source. The LFO can be either free-running or synchronized to an external MIDI clock.
Elektron Overbridge technology brings the sound and control of Analog Heat MKII into a DAW environment. Connecting Analog Heat MKII to a computer via USB will enable it as an AU/VST plug-in. Overbridge also features a graphical user interface, making it feel as though the hardware is integrated 'in the box' with all the advantages of automation and total recall. Overbridge makes analog processing of individual sounds, external audio, virtual instruments inside the DAW, stems and even complete mixes a fully integrated experience.
