Our inspection process includes:

Respecting their heritage while maintaining their innovative spirit, the Player Series humbucking bridge pickup sounds huge and warm, while the single-coil Stratocaster middle and neck pickups are crisp and articulate - it's authentic Fender tone with a modern edge. The "Modern C"-shaped maple neck's comfortable contours and smooth finish are ideal for almost any playing style. By adding a 22nd medium jumbo fret to the contemporary 9.5"-radius fingerboard Fender has made it easier to express yourself musically. The updated 2-point tremolo design has smoother travel for enhanced playing feel while simultaneously giving you rock-solid tuning stability since there's less friction against the posts. Other features include master volume and tone controls, a 5-way pickup switch, 3-ply pickguard, synthetic bone nut, dual-wing string tree, sealed tuning machines and four-bolt "F"- stamped neck plate that marks this instrument as a real deal Fender.
Player series pickups
Designed for authentic Fender tone—with a bit of an edge—the Player Series pickups keep a foot in the past while looking to the future. While some Telecasters in this price range have had a more mellow sound over the past few years, these new Alnico 5 equiped pickups offer the classic Fender Telecaster tone you've been looking for.
Block-steel bridge saddles
This string-through-body Telecaster bridge features block-steel saddles to add a bit of zing to your tone. This not only is a solid foundation for sound transfer from the string to the body, but is comfortable when resting your hand on the saddles.
22-Fret neck
Adding another fret extends the range, while the "Modern C”-shaped neck profile is comfortable for almost any playing style. The Medium Jumbo frets allow for a perfect balance of comfort for quick runs, while allowing your fingers to move smoothly as you you bend strings over its 9.5" fingerboard radius.
More traditional body shape
The Player Telecaster model’s sleek curves are hand-shaped to original specifications. Not only do these adopted contours offer a classic look, but they make the instrument feel remarkably comfortable to play.
