The Ergo Rider provides absolute ergonomic comfort and support. The hybrid of a round seat and a saddle style seat, it offers the maneuverability of the former, and the playing support of the latter. The front cutaway allows unimpeded thigh movement even during the most rapid double bass patterns.
Ergo-Rider Seat
The Ergo-Rider seat provides ergonomic comfort and support. A hybrid of round seat and saddle seat, the Ergo-Rider combines the versatility of the former and playability of the latter. A front cutaway allows completely unimpeded thigh movement, even during the most rapid double bass patterns. In addition, two gentle seat indentations and an added 20mm upper insert of soft foam encourage the right posture while providing total playing comfort.
Glide-Tite Grip Joint
This Glide-Tite Grip Joint allows for a more secure attachment by using a metal-to-metal contact point. It is an extremely solid base attachment, even for the heaviest hitters.
Seat Lock
By lowering the distance of the center throne pipe to the floor, a lower center of gravity was achieved. Additional stability improved by lengthening the tripod leg stabilizer bar and designing double-braced tripod legs that do not taper at the point they insert into the rubber feet.
Super Stabilizer Design
1st Chair's height adjustment system which blend threaded rod throne with the T-bolt system offers easy and fast height adjustment.
Oversized Rubber Feet
The extra-large rubber feet are 1.5 times larger than previous TAMA rubber feet to optimize stability.
Rocklok
TAMA's "Rocklok" features a specially designed Nylon Bushing at the bottom of the throne's threaded rod that prevents side-to-side motion within the base. This special feature provides exceptional durability and stability.

Tama Drums and Hardware Original Purchaser Limited Warranty
Tama Drums, including attached hardware, ('Drum') and Tama separate accessory hardware which may be purchased with a Drum or as separate items ('Accessory Hardware') are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship to the original owner, subject to all of the following terms and conditions.
The Warranty provided herein is for the following periods, measured in each case from the date of the original retail purchase: (A) five (5) years for the Drum shell itself, (B) one (1) year for the Drum hardware including Accessory Hardware and Drum shell finishes and (C) thirty (30) days for bass Drum wood hoops.
This Warranty is given by Hoshino (U.S.A.), Inc. by their Tama Service Divisions ('Tama') only to the original purchaser of a Drum or Accessory Hardware.
Tama will repair or replace the Drum shell itself if it proves defective under normal use and service during the five (5) year warranty Time Period stated above which Tama's examination shall disclose to its satisfaction to be thus defective.
Tama will repair or replace any part or parts of the attached Drum hardware and/or Accessory Hardware and Drum shell finishes which may prove defective under normal use and service during the one (1) year Warranty Time Period stated above which Tama's examination shall disclose to its satisfaction to be thus defective.
Tama will repair or replace any bass Drum wood hoops which may prove defective under normal use and service during the thirty (30) day warranty time period which Tama's examination shall disclose to its satisfaction to be thus defective.
Please record all serial numbers from all the drums for your records. Keep in a safe and secure place.
