Taylor GS Mini-e Koa Acoustic-Electric Bass - Natural SN 2203270352
FREE GUITAR INSPECTION!Your guitar will arrive ready to play.
With Taylor GS Mini-e Koa Bass, players can add punchy, warm acoustic bass sounds to their music, and with Hawaiian koa the package is more attractive than ever. Specially formulated nylon-core strings make this bite-sized bass a dream to play and its beefy response makes it a great addition to virtually any musical situation, from ensemble settings to home recording. Complete with a gorgeous finish that draws out koa's natural beauty, this model also ships with a padded gig bag for easy transportation.
GS Mini shape
Inspired by the big, bold sound of Taylor's Grand Symphony body shape, GS Mini scales things down without skimping on sound, packing a ton of tone into a comfortable travel size and giving you a guitar that's full-voiced and incredibly fun to play. Think of GS Mini as a modern-day parlor guitar, perfect for playing around the house but also built to fit an active lifestyle.
Hawaiian koa top wood
As a tropical hardwood, a koa top will initially project a bright and focused tone, but as it's played it matures into an increasingly warm, rich, sweet sound with healthy overtone 'bloom,' especially in the midrange.
Layered koa body wood
Layered koa features an all-wood laminated construction, in this case with an exterior layer of beautifully figured koa veneer and an interior layer of sapele separated by a core layer of poplar.
The ES-B pickup incorporates Taylor's Expression System 2 piezo design elements and features an onboard preamp with a built-in digital chromatic tuner. The preamp/tuner unit features an LED display for tuning and low battery indication along with tone and volume controls. The preamp/tuner is powered by two button cell 3v lithium batteries. Two new batteries will provide approximately 300 hours of use.
